About Adrienne
I started in the business in New Orleans, LA at Commander's
Palace. That was where I fell in love with the business. I had
always loved cooking but had never thought of it as a career
until then. After about 9 months I moved to Phoenix, AZ where I
got a job at the Arizona Biltmore (at that time a Westin Hotel).
After a year and a half I was accepted into the culinary
apprenticeship program. I graduated from that in April 1987 and
in September 1987 I transferred with Westin to Kauai HI to open
the Westin Kauai-Kauai Lagoons. Then in January 1991 I left
Westin Hotels to be a Chef at a French restaurant in Santa Fe,
NM. In September 1992 we moved to Telluride CO and helped three
partners open an Italian Bistro. I helped them get the
restaurant off the ground and in September 1993 we moved to New
York, NY. While working as the pastry chef in Peacock Alley, at
the Waldorf Astoria, we found this beautiful restaurant in New
Milford, CT. After several months of careful renovation we
opened Adrienne in April 1996. We try very hard to make people
comfortable and relaxed while enjoying our award winning cuisine
and exceptional service.
